About the Author(s)

Peter Jedicke teaches mathematics and science at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, Canada. Jedicke studied physics and philosophy and is an active amateur astronomer, involved both locally and nationally in the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. He has written articles for Astronomy and Sky & Telescope magazines. His other books include Cosmology: Exploring the Universe and Scientific American’s The Big Idea.
