Infobase eBooks are Web-based versions of Infobase Publishing’s outstanding print
reference books. As one of America’s leading providers of educational materials to
the school and library market, Infobase offers students, librarians, and educators
authoritative, reliable resources supporting the curriculum across a wide range of
subject areas. There are more than 2,000 current and backlist Infobase titles
available. Going forward, almost all of our new publications will be
available in both print and eBook formats—meaning we will be introducing hundreds of
new eBooks on a regular basis. Infobase eBooks are a great choice for any library as
they offer:
- Perpetual access to your Infobase eBooks collection, 24/7 (an Internet connection and Web browser are required)

How often are new titles added?
There are more than 2,000 current and backlist Infobase titles available.

Infobase eBooks contain the complete texts of acclaimed Infobase Publishing print books. In most cases, images and graphics are included as well.

Is there any special software, hardware, or plug-ins needed to view or access Infobase eBooks?
The Infobase eBooks platform is compatible with all current Web browsers.
Adobe PDF Reader must be installed to view Infobase eBook content. For
the best performance, the following system requirements are recommended:

- Microsoft Windows XP or Mac OSX
- Broadband Internet connection

How many simultaneous users can view and use an Infobase eBook platform at the same time?
There are no restrictions to the number of users accessing the Infobase eBooks platform
concurrently, and there are no restrictions to the number of simultaneous users accessing
the same title.
What types of authentication are available for the Infobase eBooks platform?
A user name and password, IP address, referring URL, or library barcode can be used
to provide automatic authentication into the Infobase eBook(s) your institution has purchased.
In what format are Infobase eBooks displayed?
Infobase eBooks are displayed in PDF format.

Your Infobase eBooks collection can be accessed through the Infobase eBooks log-in screen:

you will have access to all the Infobase eBooks your institution has purchased. You can also use
any of our supported authentication options to link directly to your Infobase eBooks collection or
to a specific eBook.

How do we purchase Infobase eBooks? How much do they cost?
Purchasing Infobase eBooks is easy and convenient. Registration is required to purchase your eBooks.
You can call, fax, or email your eBook order to us. Ebook pricing for individual schools is the same as
the list price of the print book; for districts and academic institutions, pricing is determined by full-time
